Elon Musk Smokes Weed With Joe Rogan - And It's All On Camera

Elon Musk found himself in the middle of another controversy on Friday, after he smoked weed and sipped whiskey during a rather odd Thursday night podcast hosted by comedian Joe Rogan - with some suggesting the eccentric billionaire had acted irresponsibly.

The spot on one of the most popular podcasts in the USA marks Musk's first appearance in a public forum since he stunned the financial world last month with his short-lived effort to take Tesla private.

Tesla's founder Elon Musk recently made an appearance on comedian Joe Rogan's popular podcast, "Joe Rogan Experience". Musk may have even violated Tesla company policy, according to CNBC.

The interview was punctuated by long pauses and flashing eye movement by Musk after he was asked questions. He took one drag from what Rogan described as a joint containing tobacco mixed with marijuana, which is legal in California.

Morton, a former chief financial officer for computer-drive maker Seagate Technology Plc, joined Tesla one day before Musk tweeted that he was considering buying out some investors at $420 a share and taking the company private.

Investigation Into Death Of Australian Model On Superyacht In Greece
The yacht was released after investigators reviewed CCTV footage from the luxury 93-metre boat, Greek media reported. The tragedy came as Ms McNamara's mother Kylie and sister Lauren were en route to join her in Greece for a holiday.

Tesla will stay public, Musk said on August 24, ending more than two weeks of speculation and calculation about how much a go-private deal would cost and who could be involved in it.

"There are so many rumours and problems about Tesla that we stay sceptical concerning the Tesla shares".

"I hope I didn't weird you out and I hope you didn't get mad that we smoked weed", Rogan told Musk, wrapping things up.

Tesla share prices took a hit amounting to as much as 9 percent today, after billionaire CEO Elon Musk took a hit off what looked like as a marijuana stogie during a YouTube talk show.

Prominent short-seller Andrew Left has sued Tesla and Musk, saying in his proposed class-action complaint on Thursday that Musk's issuance of materially false and misleading information related to his abandoned plan harmed both short-sellers and those hoping the stock would rise. Morton is a veteran in the tech sector, serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Seagate before starting his employment at Tesla. "There's a skill set that needs to be added at the top that Mr. Musk doesn't have".
