James producing series ‘Shut Up and Dribble'

Michael Jordan says 'I support' LeBron James after Trump attack

In response, Fox News pundit Laura Ingraham dedicated a segment to chiding James for discussing politics at all while a professional athlete.

Showtime has announced a new documentary series about the changing role of professional athletes in today's political environment, with National Basketball Association star LeBron James as executive producer.

The three-part series will track the NBA's growth and history, beginning with the 1976 NBA-ABA merger.

LeBron James's SpringHill Entertainment has steadily grown into quite the enterprise in the world of film-making and entertainment, and this summer LeBron has added a number of new projects to his company's portfolio.

Showtime president and CEO David Nevins said the show will be "an important, insightful docuseries that should bring fans and fellow citizens to a higher level of discourse".

Gates returns for high-drama testimony against Manafort
Gates admitted that at Manafort's behest, they later created a loan agreement for Lyovochkin's payment, though no loan existed. But while Laporta acknowledged that she regularly communicated with Gates, she said she believed Manafort was in the know.

"If being a star athlete is inherently a political experience, Shut Up and Dribble tells that complex and dramatic story from the past to the present and from the inside out", Nivens told reporters.

Trump called Lemon the "dumbest man on television" in response to the James interview, and even though Lemon acknowledged that Trump has called lots of people stupid before, the CNN host made note of how often Trump insults the intelligence of people of color who criticize him. He made Lebron look smart, which isn't easy to do. I would daresay more than we've ever seen come close from the president in this area, in this space.

"What I've noticed over the past few months", Mr. James said. A White House official said on Sunday that Mrs. Trump was not deliberately picking sides but rather emphasising her priority to use her role to help children. "And I was like, 'Oh wow, this is all because of sports, '" James said.

Mr. Lemon fired back Saturday morning, using first lady Melania Trump's anti-bullying campaign hashtag #BeBest.
