Demi Lovato Suffering Overdose Side Effects, Remains in Hospital

Demi Lovato Is

The 25-year-old singer has not addressed the overdose reports herself, but her rep issued a statement Tuesday confirming the star was "awake", noting that "some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now".

Demi Lovato remains in the hospital nearly a week after her drug overdose, according to TMZ. Lovato's ex-boyfriend of six years, Wilmer Valderrama, has reportedly been seen by his former girlfriend's side since her hospitalization.

Fans have also been looking for a connected party to blame for Lovato's situation, and her friend/backup dancer, Dani Vitale, has been accused the most.

"It's all up to her", Urban added, according to Daily Mail Australia. "She's been heavily using and her friends have been very anxious that this was going to happen". She was reportedly treated with Narcan - a medication created to rapidly reverse opioid overdose - before being rushed to a local hospital.

Vettel on top again in final Hungarian practice
The Briton has won five times previously at the Hungaroring, but never in a year in which he has gone on to take the championship. The Australian driver is aiming to go one better in qualifying after recording the third fastest lap in second practice.

Despite being in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Califoria, for six days, the "Sorry Not Sorry" singer has not been discharged due to various "complications", according to TMZ.

Wilmer has remained silent on social media following Demi's hospitalisation, but it's clear that Demi and her family are keen to keep him close.

It was thought she was ready to leave the facility, with it being claimed she was being released into the care of a rehab centre. "But the friends acted very quickly and saved her life".

Last Thursday, officials released redacted audio of a 911 call that led to Lovato's hospitalisation.
