In the story Tekashi told his crew, which was originally reported to TMZ, there were three men, who ambushed 69 at him home, pistol-whipped him unconscious and then threatened him when he woke up in the back seat of their auto as they drove around.

Tekashi69 was driving home around 4 a.m. When he pulled up in his driveway, another vehicle pulled up and blocked him.

Allegedly, the kidnappers threatened to kill him if he didn't give up jewelry and cash.

According to the sources' account, the first thing Tekashi remembers is waking up in the back seat of the auto. The controversial rapper's baby mother and daughter were inside the house but did not get hurt. However, there are now multiple versions of the story being reported as TMZ's original sources, said to be close to Tekashi, have been said to have related a slightly different version of events from what police say Tekashi offered them.

The men took the rapper with them, but as they drove off, he pulled open the door and jumped out. According to 6ix9ine, the two men rammed the rear bumper of the Tahoe and proceeded to carjack the rapper and his entourage, stealing away with both the driver's iPhone and Tekashi in the back seat.

He escaped the vehicle and is then said to have flagged down a passing driver, getting into the passenger's seat and begging them to call 911. A stranger called 911 and he was taken to the hospital.

He was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where he now remains, as doctors perform various tests, including a CT scan.
