'The European Union is a foe'

U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton looks on as U.S. President Donald Trump holds a news conference after participating in the NATO Summit in Brussels Belgium

In a related development, Trump also called on UK Prime Minister to sue the European Union instead of negotiating as she pushes to unite her party behind Brexit blueprint.

"I hadn't thought of that". "Certainly, I'll be asking about it". But again, this was during the Obama administration.

"It doesn't feel good to have them here", said Anna Bruun, a civil servant who said she was opposed to "great power politics" playing out in her home city.

The U.S. has no extradition treaty with Moscow and can't compel Russian Federation to hand over citizens, and a provision in Russia's constitution prohibits extraditing its citizens to foreign countries.

"And there are things we can do, and things that I've advocated - making sure it's decentralized all the way down to the precinct level, making sure we don't store all of the data in one place ..."

But doing so, Huntsman cautioned, "doesn't necessarily mean that the Russians are going to follow through".

A United States federal grand jury charged 12 Russian intelligence officers on Friday with hacking Democratic computer networks in 2016, in the most detailed USA accusation yet that Moscow meddled in the election to help Republican Trump.

President Trump included the European Union when rattling off a list of the "biggest foes" of the United States throughout the world.

Speaking in an interview with CBS Evening News published on the network's website yesterday, Mr Trump sought to temper hopes about how much could be achieved at the first one-on-one meeting between the two leaders. "Trade, maybe an extension of START with Russian compliance on the INF Treaty, which they have been in violation of now for over a year, and maybe you have a deal".

At a joint press conference Friday with British Prime Minister Theresa May, Trump told reporters he would "absolutely" bring up the issue of Russian Federation interference in the election during his meeting with Putin.

Scores of congressional Democrats had already called on Trump to cancel his meeting with Putin in light of the indictments, detailed by Rod Rosenstein at a news conference. The rest of the interview will air on Monday.

Papa John's logo to change after founder uses N-word
MLB's "Papa Slam" promotion gave people discounts on pizza when players hit grand slams. Papa John's isn't the only pizza option at Target Field.

Speaking in an interview with CBS Evening News aired Sunday, the U.S. president also sought to temper expectations about how much could be achieved.

Others on the USA side sought to lower expectations, attempting to downgrade the summit to just a regular bilateral meeting, given that no major achievements are likely.

"I think the president can put this on the table and say, 'This is a serious matter that we need to talk about, '" Bolton said.

The top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, Mark Warner, said he was anxious about Trump being alone in the room with Putin, without his national-security aides. But that doesn't mean they are bad. Four former Trump campaign figures, including his first national security adviser and a campaign manager, have been indicted.

The summit is expected to address a range of issues, including Syria, nuclear weapons and election meddling.

Trump told Putin that he had spoken with British Prime Minister Theresa May and German Chancellor Angela Merkel "and they agree with me" about the "outrageous" nature of the video, a source told Axios. Trump, however, did not specify where he believes this anger is coming from.

The summit with Putin is set to happen on Monday in Helsinki, Finland.

Trump said in a Saturday interview he had "low expectations" for the meeting, and planned to ask about extraditing the indicted intelligence officers. "I met him a couple of times, I met him at the G20". I respect the leaders of those countries.

However, European Council President Donald Tusk has said that the EU and the USA are best friends, and saying the two are foes was "fake news".

"It isn't a summit", US Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman told NBC'S "Meet the Press" moderator Chuck Todd. Russian Federation is a foe in certain respects.
