8 pedestrians injured by taxi on sidewalk in Moscow

At least seven people have been injured after the vehicle ran into a group of pedestrians in the capital, Russian news agency TASS reports.

Eight people sought medical assistance, Moscow police said.

A Moscow traffic authority wrote on social media that the taxi driver, who has been detained, had a Kyrgyz driving license.

Honest, direct and productive meet with North Korean leader, says US President
Rodman first visited North Korea in 2013 when he toured the country with the Harlem Globetrotters. No details of what those steps would be were given.

Moscow's traffic management authority said the driver had a licence issued in Kyrgyzstan and had not driven into the crowd of people deliberately.

Moscow Police said the driver likely lost control of the vehicle rather than deliberately steering his auto into pedestrians.

The authority cited the driver, who was in police custody, as saying he had not driven into the crowd on goal.

Asked if the driver appeared drunk, the witness said: "No, he wasn't drunk". Two Mexican nationals, who had come to Russian Federation for the World Cup, were among the injured in the incident.
