Robin Williams Come Inside My Mind’ explores the stormy life of the comic genius

It features interviews from Billy Crystal, Lewis Black, Eric Idle, Whoopi Goldberg, David Letterman, Steve Martin, Pam Dawber and Zak Williams. On August 11th of that year news emerged that beloved comedian and actor Robin Williams had taken his own life.

The documentary is called Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind, and is described as "a amusing, intimate and heartbreaking portrait of one of the world's most beloved and inventive comedians".

Directed by Marina Zenovich, the documentary debuted at this year's Sundance for Zenovich's third time and earned rave reviews from critics, now holding a 100% rating on review aggregate Rotten Tomatoes based on 10 reviews. Martin then acknowledges that Williams, on stage, was "a master", but "off stage, it felt like he was holding himself together". "Stand-up is survival", he explains.
