‘Wonder Woman 2’ producer teases what year the sequel takes place

Wonder Woman 2

The next Wonder Woman adventure could take place in 1984.

Wonder Woman was a home run for DC Entertainment and Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns appears to be just as excited for the sequel as we are.

As you recall, the first film began in modern times, then flashed back to 1917 when Diana Prince first became known as Wonder Woman. Jenkins is set to return as director, and her Twitter background also features the logo.

Was Bryan Colangelo's Wife Behind Anonymous Twitter Trolling Campaign?
Despite vehement denials from Colangelo, 76ers ownership is still reportedly fuming over the incident and are embarrassed. One person who will not be losing his job with the 76ers is coach Brett Brown.

Now, we have some new info on the sequel, which is set to drop next year. Of course, the major event was the Cold War that took place between the United States and Russian Federation, which will definitely have a big part to play in the film. Rumors about the film's setting surfaced past year, claiming it will take place during the tail end of the Cold War and see Diana battling against the Soviets.

If Warner Bros. doesn't use that poster, then it's making a very big mistake. Narcos star Pedro Pascal is also among the franchise newcomers. The '80s, after all, was one of the most interesting eras in music, film, art, and culture. Jenkins, Johns and Dave Callaham have co-written the script. Warner Bros has set the film's release date for November 1 next year.

Wonder Woman 2 is now sated for a November 1, 2019 release.
