Premier League Champion Manager Excited For New Chelsea Boss Unveiling

Antonio Conte

Former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri was the favourite to take over from Conte, but that deal seems to have been sunk by the fact Chelsea refused to pay the Italian's former employers a compensation fee.

Conte, who is reportedly set to be replaced by Sarri at Stamford Bridge, was also in talks with De Laurentiis, however, his demands proved too much for the Napoli owner.

Sarri helped Napoli mount a genuine Serie A title challenge in 2017-18, ultimately finishing four points adrift of champions Juventus.

"We've won two major trophies with the manager up til now, so it's been good".

USA and North Korea preparing Trump-Kim summit
Moon made the remarks after a surprise meeting between the two Korean leaders on Saturday at the Demilitarized Zone. Trump rattled the region on Thursday by cancelling his meeting with Kim, citing "open hostility" from Pyongyang.

"I have to congratulate De Laurentiis who has pulled off a big coup, because he's brought the most decorated Italian coach, who has won so much overseas, to Napoli". Don't worry, with Carlo we'll do what we have to do.

Chelsea is bracing up for their first signing of the summer which worth a sum of £95.7m, according to report in Corriere Dello Sport. I told him, 'what can I do with €58m?'.

With Chelsea potentially facing a £16 million bill to change their manager, they could decide to look at cheaper or more available options, or indeed keep Conte on for one more season. Despite sacking him, Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis refuses to release Sarri from his deal. Money is a means, not an end. It's very hard and frustrating when you don't play regularly and I've been lucky enough to do that over the majority of my career. "For somebody like me, who loves watching games at home on the sofa, Napoli are spectacular and his brand of football is a joy to watch".
