The Whatever You Like hitmaker was arrested following an alleged altercation with a security guard outside his gated community. T.I. released a statement to The Blast after his release, saying the guard "antagonized" him after T.I. called him out for sleeping on the job. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When the cops arrived, T.I. says he was immediately arrested because they were "white cops in a very white area", despite the fact that the guard involved was black.

T.I. claims the whole thing started because he was returning home from the studio and noticed the security guard allegedly asleep in the guard shack. The rapper was released from the Henry County Jail about 8 a.m. Wednesday after posting $2,250 bond. "Tip clearly identified himself and sought entry", his attorney Steve Sadow wrote on Facebook. He says the guard continued to refuse entry "without justification" before words were exchanged and police were called.
