Some Android apps offer an Incognito Mode where you can use their functionality without being tracked and without your actions being logged into your usage history.

The "Incognito Mode" in browsers is a well-known feature for quite some time now and it's extremely useful, especially if you are logging into your account when using someone else's computer. The YouTube application already has a way to enable Incognito Mode but it requires you to dig into the Settings to toggle it on and off. Fortunately, the new Incognito Mode will show up in a much more prominent position.

It's worth noting that YouTube's mobile apps already let you pause your watch history and search history by finding those toggles in the settings menu, but we could certainly use a quicker way to indulging our freaky side. Currently, you will see Switch account and Sign out as two different items, but they may soon be bundled into one, with the empty slot being given to Turn on Incognito mode.

When activated the app won't record your current session and the subscription list will be hidden.

Trump might sideline Giuliani from his media blitz
Of course his attorneys prefer that, because they know that when Trump starts talking, he starts lying. His biggest fear, much like Trump himself, is becoming irrelevant, becoming forgotten.

We're seeing this feature live in Canada, so go hit up YouTube for iOS on your Apple device and let us know if you're going to turn this on.

Thankfully, that's all of us: a quick survey in the TNW newsroom revealed all manner of unnecessary viewing, like this ancient Vine, this way-too-slick clip of beetleweight fighting robots, this primate peeing into its own mouth, and this dude delivering the most profound monologue ever while enjoying an LSD trip in the Thar desert.
