Saints Pro Bowl RB Mark Ingram Suspended 4 Games For PEDs

NFL suspends Saints running back Mark Ingram

Ingram will be eligible to return to the Saints' active roster on Monday, October 1 following the team's September 30 game against the New York Giants.

Ingram will still be permitted to participate in offseason workouts, training camp and the preseason, but he will not be able to practice or play in those first four games.

Ingram violated the league policy on performance enhancing substances. Ingram is headed into a contract season, and the Saints will probably be preparing to move on.
