CNN's Dana Bash Battles WH's Kellyanne Conway over Husband's Tweets

KellyAnne Conway Calls Melania Trump 'Superior' First Lady to Michelle Obama (VIDEO)

TMZ asked the president's senior counselor whether she thought reports that USA magazines were snubbing the current first lady were true, since Michelle Obama had been featured in at least a dozen magazines during her husband's eight years in office.

White House adviser Kellyanne Conway had a relatively low media profile for a few months, since she was busy mismanaging the White House response to the opioid crisis.

He did, however, acknowledge that Conway had a right to fight back when she was asked an unfair question. "This is a fascinating, cross-the-Rubicon moment and I will leave it at that". "Are we going to do that?"

But that is exactly what the counselor to the President of the United States expected of the public when she went on CNN's "State of the Union" program and basically laid into the guest host, CNN's Dana Bash.

"Her work with youth ... you saw her in the East Wing talking about the opioid crisis, empowering young kids and their curriculum in the schools, she is just doing a wonderful job".

"By definition, spouses have a difference of opinion when one is, I don't know, draining the joint bank account to support things that maybe the other disagrees with", Conway said.

Karnataka assembly elections: Mahila Empowerment Party releases manifesto
The list of names was made public following a meeting of the BJP's Central Election Committee at the party headquarters in Delhi. The BJP has been doggedly pursuing to recapture Karnataka after it lost power in the state in 2013.

"I would ask you that if you were a man", Bash replied, to which Kellyanne Conway simply said, "No you would not". "There has been a different standard for me than there have been for other people. We bite our tongue plenty since I work for individuals of this nation, the United States federal government, and the presidency and the President of the United States, so there is plenty that I do not state".

Last Monday on ABC's "Good Morning America", Conway used fired FBI Director James Comey's disclosure that his wife and daughters supported Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election as a way to target his own political leanings.

" His individuals in his family desired the other individual to win", Conway stated, describing Clinton.

If Conway really wants to prove that she cares so strongly about not dragging spouses and getting them involved in the politics of the day, perhaps she should focus less on attacking Dana Bash and more on acknowledging the real Donald Trump and her role in trying to justify his abysmal treatment of women.

"Melania Trump is such a superior and excellent first lady", Kellyanne said to the entertainment gossip publication.
