Minnesota woman suspected of killing 2 captured in Texas

Fugitive double murder suspect Lois Riess is arrested, Minnesota sheriff says

"Marceno told NBC's "Today" show" that Riess "has an absolute gambling addiction". By the time the two officers arrived at the restaurant, Riess was no longer on the property. Law enforcement recieved a tip that Riess was in South Padre Island, Texas.

"They looked back at caller ID and it was the cellphone that Lois had bought after she had ditched the Minnesota cell phone", Tess said.

The Kosters had known Riess and her husband, David, for more than 10 years.

"And the people of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, and the rest of the nation, we believe, are safer because of your efforts".

A warrant was for Riess' arrest in connection with the case.

Tess Koster is 58 and bears a resemblance to the 56-year-old Riess - who, a week later, allegedly killed a neighbor of the Kosters, stole her identity and fled to Texas, where she was captured Thursday night. She was reportedly facing $100,500 in debt at the time of the murder. But in Minnesota, she has not been formally charged with murder. "Pam should have left the day before, and that would have actually had her alive".

Investigators said Riess withdrew around $5,000 from Hutchinson's bank account while in Florida, CNN affiliate WINK reported.

Authorities were called to Fort Myers Beach on April 9 and found Hutchinson dead, with gunshot wounds.

Authorities say that after killing her doppelgänger on or around April 5, Riess stole Hutchinson's driver's license, credit cards and auto.

This story is breaking, and more details are to be released.

Riess immediately turned and walked away, muttering "Wrong number, wrong number", Koster said.

Arsene Wenger to use West Ham match as Europa League preparation
Aaron Ramsey, who suffered a nasty gash during the game in Moscow , is also set to return after recovering from the wound. Arsenal have lined up former player Patrick Vieira to replace Arsene Wenger at the end of his tenure.

8News spoke with two Henrico women that say they were cousins of Hutchinson, the second victim of Riess.

According to Lee County, Florida Undersheriff Carmine Marceno, "Hutchinson was targeted by the suspect due to the similarities in their appearance".

A nationwide search has resulted in the Texas arrest Thursday of a grandmother accused of murder in two states - who police said befriended a look-alike to steal her identity.

She made friends while she was on South Padre Island, too.

The auto, a 2005 Acura TL, surfaced in Ocala as Riess stayed in a Hilton hotel, before leaving the state and traveling along the gulf coast. They found her at a local restaurant where she was sitting by herself when the deputies arrested her.

Some have speculated Riess may have been attempting to blend in with the few Winter Texans who remain in the area.

Using a cheap cellphone she bought under the alias "Stormy Liberty", Riess found the Kosters' address in the development where they live and own several rental condos. And there the answer is not so clear. "So she seemed to have let her guard down a bit", he said. Riess was eventually identified by a tipster in South Padre.

"From a media standpoint, we couldn't have done this without you guys", Rose said. He said prosecutors in Minnesota and Florida were working together to coordinate prosecution.

"Got along great with them", Tess said.
