In Michigan, where snowfall was expected to reach 18 inches in some areas, about 310,000 homes and businesses were without power because of an ice storm, majority in the southeast of the state.

Two nearby Wisconsin communities, both Massive Falls and Tigerton, obtained over Two feet of snow that the National Weather Service in Green Bay Noted.

Other parts of the state were not as lucky. Powerful winds knocked out power to thousands of customers in MI, which was expected to get more snow and ice throughout the weekend.
