Hitting on one of those late first round picks or second round picks can be the saving grace for a front office, keeping them in power for years, while a big miss can lead to organizational changes, which is why they put so much work into the pre-draft process.

LiAngelo Ball is declaring for the 2018 NBA Draft. He'll work out for several National Basketball Association teams. LaMelo, the youngest of the Ball brothers, has played alongside LiAngelo with Vytautas Prienu since the two made their debut for the club in January.

He is is expected to work out for several National Basketball Association teams when he returns from playing for Vytautas. He's averaging a league-leading 15.7 points and 2.9 rebounds and is shooting 45 percent from 3-point range in nine first-division Lithuanian league games.

With the 72 points, LiAngelo matched his career-high effort as a senior at Chino Hills (Calif.).

NCAA Latest: Texas Tech Beats Purdue For Last Elite 8 Spot
Tech is averaging 75 per game on offense while allowing 64.6 per contest on defense. "Man, it was more physical than our game". If Tech can keep the live-ball turnovers at a minimum, life for the Villanova offense will be much more hard than usual.

Ball, a 6-foot-5 guard/forward, has established himself as a pro player this season in Lithuania.

An ESPN mock draft has Holiday going 23rd overall to the Lakers, who selected former Bruin Lonzo Ball with the second overall pick in the draft previous year. Just today (March 27), he scored 72 points in a BBB challenge game which is not associated with the LKL (Lietuvos Krepsinio Lyga) as it's main goal is to develop Gelo and Melo as basketball players against youth teams.

In order to showcase his talents, Gelo will be participating in the NBA Draft Combine from May 16-20 in Chicago, where all draft prospects will be attending with NBA scouts and general managers watching. That won't stop a G League team from picking him up, though; there's still hope for him.
