Madeline Finn continues past 'American Idol' audition stage

Ada Vox made a triumphant return to "American Idol" on March 25 five years after being bounced from the top 50. The 18-year-old freshman at Millersville University met the judges in New York City after moving past the open call auditions in Pittsburgh.

The young songstress then showed her true personality with a attractive rendition of a church song that blew the judges away and earned her a golden ticket to Hollywood.

The celebration comes months after her first audition in Asheville, North Carolina and numerous Skype interviews and singing auditions, she was invited by producers to audition for the celebrity judges in Nashville.

Grammy nominee Katy Perry was blown away by the performance of Alyssa Raghunandan, an Indian origin contestant on the "American Idol" show. When the judges gave her three "Yes's" she was on her way.
