Woman Flogged 100 Times In Public By Husband As Punishment

In the video, the woman can be seen with her hands tied up while beaten by what is believed to be a belt that belonged to her husband.

A crowd of men and boys watched as she collapsed unconscious after the shocking beating in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh.

Carol Stone, 35, was arrested and charged with domestic battery Wednesday after deputies said she smacked her husband in the head and face and scratched his neck and chest.

According to sources, a woman identified as Ritu Devi wife of Captain Singh and her paramour identified as Darshan Kumar hatched up a conspiracy to kill her husband. After reportedly receiving 100 lashes, the woman eventually collapsed. Police Inspector Altaf Ansari told local news that a case was pending against the woman's spouse.
