Fortnite iOS Early Review Roundup: A Mobile Smash

Activision Hints At Possible Battle Royale Implementation For Future Call of Duty Games

The speed with which Epic Games adds Fortnite content has made it a smash hit with fans (including Drake, if you somehow managed to miss that).

In case you've somehow missed it, Fortnite Battle Royale is a game from Epic Games released on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Mac in mid-2017 and this year it's making its way to mobile.

The massive sensation from Epic Games' Fortnite: Battle Royale has just been launched on the Apple store. It's a remarkable achievement considering you need an invite to get in.

"We'll be adding more players regularly over the coming months".

When Fortnite was first released it was a simple PVE game where players banded together to construct bases while fighting off zombie hordes.

The first step is simple: sign up to Fortnite on iOS via this link to receive an invite code.

We have the full list of compatible devices with our instructions on how to sign up for Fortnite Mobile. Keep checking, and soon you too might be fighting for that umbrella. From new game modes (20 x 5 team modes) to console ports (PC, XB1, iOS), Epic Games has refused to sit idly by.

Oklahoma to use nitrogen gas to execute death row inmates
It led to the Director of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections admitting defeat, in an increasingly desperate search. State law also allows officials to opt for firing squads or the electric chair in executions.

To play Fortnite Mobile on tablet you will need at least an iPad Mini 4 or iPad Air 2 or better.

Any iPad or device that falls outside these minimum specs won't be able to play the game.

The good news about Fortnite on mobile is that it supports cross-play.

Alternatively, if you have a friend who has already received their Fortnite invite, you can have them invite you to the game to jump the line.

Given the game's already high popularity, Fortnite has created a waitlist to ensure their servers can handle the constant influx of gamers. As Epic said above, more invites will roll out in the coming days and weeks, so you'll have plenty of other chances to join in the fun.

Fortnite Mobile has officially announced the availability of this game for iOS devices on the popular microblogging website, Twitter.
