Rahul Gandhi continues with temple circuit

Sonia Gandhi who is the chairperson of the CPP was delivering her first address since stepping down from the top post

Countering Modi's "10 percent Sarkar" remark against the Siddharamaiah Government, Rahul Gandhi said the BJP Government in the State earlier had broken all records of corruption and that the BJP had no moral right to speak about corruption. Addressing multiple public meetings on Sunday in Karnataka, Gandhi said the Modi government had not yet "even opened [its] account", almost four years into its rule, PTI reported. During the "Janashirvada Yatra" in the state, Gandhi also walked out of the bus and walked some distance on foot along with Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and KPCC President G Parameshwara while the crowds tried to get close to him.

Rahul Gandhi began today's campaign after having breakfast at Kuknoor Guest House in Koppal district.

On day two of his campaign in the run-up to the Assembly elections, Mr Gandhi, on seeing the unprecedented crowds at his rallies, chose to hit the PM where it hurts most.

In a similar fashion, ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public rally here on February 4, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, in a welcome tweet, had asked him to find time to resolve the inter-state Mahadayi river water row with neighbouring Goa. He further stated that since the party's victory in the 2014 elections, the saffron party has used social media effectively to dispense the message that they have gone the last mile using social media.
