Frank Reich reportedly has five-year deal to become Colts coach

Report Indianapolis Colts have landed their next head coach

Frank has all the ingredients of a successful head coach: intelligence, innovation, character, organizational and leadership skills, and a commanding presence.

Reich got his start in coaching with the Colts, serving as an offensive assistant in 2008. The team announced it was "surprised and disappointed" when McDaniels told the Colts he was staying with the Patriots "after agreeing to contract terms" with Indianapolis.

Ballard interviewed Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier on Saturday. Garafolo reported the two sides agreed to a five-year deal (though, as we learned this week, nothing is completely official until a contract is signed).

According to ESPN.com, Reich is the favorite to land the Colts job and and the deal is basically done. Reich was the hot name after the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl.

"We are extremely excited to announce Frank Reich as head coach of the Indianapolis Colts".

Quentin Tarantino bit Fergie on the set of 'Planet Terror'
My manager has it on his camera. "It was insane cool". "I wanted to make sure she had all of the answers she had been seeking". Tarantino has since called the incident "one of my most horrendous mistakes".

Reich, 56, spent the past two seasons in Philadelphia helping the Eagles' offense, led by quarterbacks Carson Wentz and (after Week 14) Nick Foles, improve from 22nd to seventh in the National Football League this season. He helped develop Carson Wentz into a star and turn Nick Foles into a quality starting quarterback.

The Philadelphia Eagles reportedly lost another assistant coach Sunday. Reich worked as the Colts' wide receivers coach in 2011 after Manning missed the season because of injury.

Getting an offensive mind as strong as Reich should be huge for the Colts.

If Reich leaves as expected, Pederson likely would consider promoting running backs coach Duce Staley to offensive coordinator. The Colts also found someone who actually wanted their job.

Reich, with his experience at the quarterback position, should help realign the Colts and ignite them back into the AFC playoff picture.
