Larry Nance, Jr. to participate in 2018 NBA Slam Dunk Contest

NBA All Star Game

Gordon has declared that this will be his last dunk contest and is looking to make up for his disappointment from past year.

Oladipo is competing in his second Slam Dunk competition, having finished second to Bulls guard Zach LaVine in 2015.

The night will end as Victor Oladipo, Aaron Gordon, Dennis Smith Jr. and Larry Nance Jr. compete to win the coveted Verizon Slam Dunk contest.

Gordon has a lot more confidence on the floor these days and he'll hope to translate that in the dunk contest at Staples Center and finally get his hands on the award he craves.

Based on the contestants this time around, we should be juuuuuust fine.

All four competitors get two dunks in the first round.

Aamir Khan posts picture with a sanitary pad
Mumbai: As Akshay Kumar's " Padman " release gets closer, the buzz around the movie seems to get stronger. Aamir nominated his contemporaries Salman and Shah Rukh besides senior Amitabh Bachchan.

He couldn't quite recapture the magic (pun: intended) a year ago, but will complete the trilogy in Los Angeles in two weeks, and I can't wait to see what he has up his sleeve this time around. Early predictions are saying Larry Nance & Aaron Gordon, the latter of which who's participating in his 3rd straight year, are favorites going into the big throw down.

This will be Oladipo's second time in the featured event on All-Star Saturday.

In addition to the dunk contest, National Basketball Association also announced the contestants for the 3-point shootout as well.

But the Lakers forward is an accomplished dunker in his own right, and in his third season has already earned a reputation for putting opponents on posters.

Mavs rookie Dennis Smith Jr. will compete in the 2018 slam dunk contest! And, thankfully, we won't have to wait long to put that to the test. Jr. absolutely posterized Lopez into oblivion that December night. Check back to Sportsnet.ca for a thorough preview as all-star weekend approaches.
