Khan, actually, clicked the image of himself with the sanitary napkin after actress Twinkle Khanna tagged him for the "PadMan challenge".

Mumbai: As Akshay Kumar's "Padman" release gets closer, the buzz around the movie seems to get stronger. Aamir was challenged by Twinkle Khanna.

Aamir nominated his contemporaries Salman and Shah Rukh besides senior Amitabh Bachchan.

She ask everyone to post a picture holding a pad with a message that reads, "Yes, that's a Pad in my hand & there's nothing to be ashamed about".

Till now, Twinkle Khanna, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Harsh Goenka among others have taken up the #PadManChallenge and have further nominated three more friends to take it up.

After the Ice Bucket and Mannequin Challenge, here comes another Internet trend that is going viral with the bollywood celebraties.

The makers of R Balki's Pad Man, which stars Akshay Kumar in the titular role, have come up with an interesting challenge to promote the film and reduce the hesitation in discussing menstruation and sanitary pads. The film is based on the life story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, inventor of low-priced sanitary napkins for women in rural areas. Celebs are tagging celebs to participate in the ' PadMan Challenge, ' which requires them to post pictures of themselves holding sanitary pad.
