DJ Found Guilty of Groping Taylor Swift Hired at Another Radio Station

David Mueller gets new radio job as

David Mueller, better known as the DJ who groped Taylor Swift in 2013, is still working in radio under a new name, and Swifties are not happy.

David Mueller lost against Swift in a sexual assault case last summer and has now begun hosting a new radio show under the name Stonewall Jackson.

After Swift and her team banned him from the musician's concerts, he sued Swift for $3m (£2.1m) in damages, saying her accusations were false and destroyed his career. He was found guilty of groping Swift a year ago and ordered to pay her the symbolic $1 she countersued him for, which he has still failed to pay.

Mueller's new boss Larry Fuss of Delta Radio has said that he believes Mueller is innocent, telling the New York Daily News, "He's either the world's best liar, or he's telling the truth".

Wynn Resorts probes sexual misconduct claims against boss
Governor Charlie Baker called the charges and allegations against Steve Wynn "distressing and appalling". The Republican National Committee convenes this week in Washington for its annual winter meeting.

"I sat down with him face-to-face in Minneapolis before I offered him the job and talked to him about it", Fuss told the Daily News in a phone interview. The threat apparently had a connection to Mueller's hiring.

As for the backlash Delta Radio is now facing, Fuss said commenters on the station's Facebook page "need to get a life". "It's just people who don't have a clue, or don't really have any knowledge of the facts", he concludes.

See some of the passionate responses below. It's all originating from some Taylor Swift fan group somewhere. "They're telling people to go to this station's webpage and post negative comments", Fuss said. The man was sacked from his job at Colorado radio station KYGO in June 2013 after the 27-year-old told higher-ups that he slipped his hand under her skirt and put his hand on her butt as they posed for a picture together. And her mother, Andrea Swift, testified that when she heard about the incident she "wanted to vomit and cry at the same time".

Some of the employees at the station were understandably skeptical of the hire at first Fuss added.
