BJP Mocks Rahul Gandhi's Expensive Jacket

"Your indifference mocks us!" tweeted the Meghalaya BJP unit, along with a picture of the jacket's original photo and one of Rahul Gandhi attending the concert.

The Congress President is now in Shillong to kick off the election campaign of the party in poll-bound Meghalaya.

AICC chief Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday exuded confidence of retaining power in Meghalaya stating that the people have come to realize that the BJP is crushing voices and taking decisions without people's consent. As response to Rahul's jibes to PM Modi and his economic policies such as GST and demonetisation and comments like "2030 Narendra Modi will bring the moon to earth", the BJP was quick to grab the opportunity to mock Rahul Gandhi.

The state fragment of Congress is hosting a Music Concert in the state instead of the old election rally to connect the youth voters of the state at first.

Narendra Modi urges opposition to pass Triple Talaq Bill
The economic survey is all set to present before the house today with the commencement of budget session today. Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will announce the budget in the Parliament on Feb 1.

Dressed in blue denim pants and a black jacket, Rahul listened to the musical bands.

Praising the holding of the event since it connected people, particularly the youth, the Congress leader said that it was important that all Indians realised that the country was strong when we loved and respected each other.

Attacking the Prime Minister, Ms Chowdhury said, "Those who wove (their) own name on suit, do they have any moral authority to question Rahul Gandhi's jacket? You will see him with others. There is a particular distance he maintains from the poor people, which he does not with Mr Obama or others". She said, "I don't know whether to laugh or cry at the desperation of the BJP".

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leader and BJP general secretary Ram Madhav also hit out at Gandhi, saying the Congress left the northeast states poor while their leaders roamed around in costly jackets.
