Natural disaster tremors felt in several cities of Pakistan, region

An natural disaster of magnitude 6.1 on the Richter scale struck central Afghanistan in the Hindu Kush region on Wednesday morning.

The Pakistani media reported that at least one person died and many were injured in Balochistan's Lasbela.

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) said the quake's epicenter was in Jarm in Badakhshan province and shook a large part of the country including Kabul. There are also reports that people in Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan also felt the impact of the natural disaster.

Tremors were reportedly felt in Srinagar, Delhi and National Capital Region.
