"It'll be the most produced, fantastic show I've ever done".

Last year, Sir Elton was forced to cancel a series of shows when he contracted a bacterial infection. John said he was exhausted of traveling and wanted to spend more time with his sons, 5-year-old Elijah and 7-year-old Zachary, as well as his husband, David Furnish.

The singer - who is a lifelong supporter of Premier League football team Watford - plans to continue making music, but said "mostly I will be taking my kid to soccer academy". American Express cardholders can purchase presale tickets starting at 10 a.m. Thursday.

John replied, "It's the last time that I will be touring because my priorities have changed in my life".

In a live interview and concert in NY on Wednesday, Elton John announced his retirement from touring.

White House Slams Graham
The White House said Sunday that it's Graham, not Miller, who is operating outside America's mainstream. Miller is an immigration hardliner and has a track record of working against immigration compromises.

Tickets for initial shows go on sale to the general public beginning February 2 at 10 a.m., CST. John and husband David Furnish got married back in December 2014, and are parents to two young adopted sons who are five and seven years old.

Adam Chester, Class of '81 Miami Beach High grad, has been John's rehearsal pianist for years.

Centered around a marquee event at Gotham Hall in New York City, today's announcement was live-streamed globally exclusively on YouTube in VR180, and simultaneously transmitted to venues in Los Angeles and London.

John's final Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour will start in the United States of America in September and will stretch out to 300 shows which may take several years to complete.

Now aged 70, Sir Elton was forced to cancel shows in America a year ago when he was hospitalised - including two nights in intensive care - being treated for a "potentially deadly" infection.

John remains one of the world's most successful artists both in recorded and live music - with his long-running residency becoming a major attraction in Las Vegas. 1, 2018, in Atlanta at Philips Arena; Dec. 6, 2018, in New Orleans at Smoothie King Center; March 12, 2019, in Raleigh, N.C., at PNC Arena; March 13, 2019, in Columbia, S.C., at Colonial Life Arena; and March 15, 2019, in Jacksonville, Fla., at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. The recording sold millions of copies and raised millions of euros for charity. He will also host a special concert in his honour at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, with guest stars including Sam Smith, Chris Martin, Kesha, John Legend and Keith Urban.
