Suspect in custody after United States school shooting

A 16-year-old boy was taken into custody Monday morning after the report of a school shooting in Italy, which is south of Dallas.

The status of the victims is unclear at this time.

A shooting has been reported at a high school 45 minutes south of Dallas, Texas.

Police and emergency crews are at the scene.

Shook said she had complained about the suspect at least twice before to school officials, including a vice principal.
