Rivals reporter Courtney Roland is missing

Sports reporter Courtney Roland has been found in Texas - and is now being hospitalized after being reported missing early Sunday morning.

She was reported missing Sunday afternoon by her roommate after last being seen on Saturday.

A friend wrote on social media that loved ones of Roland filed a missing person's report for her on January 7, 2018, and she was last seen in the area of Houston Heights. They said that she appeared "unharmed" in an updated Tweet and said that she would be taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Roland, a Texas A&M correspondent for Rivalsdotcom and AggieYelldotcom, disclosed to Vara the man hurried off in his blue truck when she escaped her auto, NBC member KPRC detailed.

Roland covers Texas A&M football for AggieYell.com and Rivals.com, according to the Houston Chronicle.

The roommate said Roland and her was supposed to meet up, but the roommate didn't hear from her again.

Police said, Roland's white Jeep was later was found with her phone and other personal items inside. The roommate said the blue truck looped back around and parked behind her and Roland got out of her vehicle and the truck sped off.

Police declined to say exactly where she was found, although officers said she appeared to be unharmed.

Police say 29-year-old Courtney Roland was last seen Sunday evening walking alone in a store at a shopping mall. "And I know Courtney would be praying for you, because that's the way she was".

Police say she appeared to have spent much of her time searching for her phone, which was found in her auto.
