PM Modi launches Delhi Metro's Magenta Line

PM Narendra Modi to inaugurate Delhi Metro’s Magenta line Today

Sisodia's remarks came after the inauguration function of Botanical Garden-Janakpuri West section of Magenta Line in which the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) invited the Prime Minister and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minster Yogi Adityanath but ignored Kejriwal.

The Prime Minister asserted that governance can not happen when the dominant thought process begins at "Mera Kya" and ends at 'Mujhe Kya.' He said that these mindsets are now being changed.

India's capital launched a metro train with driverless technology Monday, though officials said it would operate with a driver for at least a year or two.

He recalled that 24th December 2002, former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji took a ride on the metro.

Breaking the infamous "Noida jinx", Modi arrived with UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath, whose predecessors have always avoided visiting the state's urban hub as it is widely believed that whoever visits Noida loses power.

The president's action, which is not a presidential pardon, was encouraged by bipartisan leaders. Rubashkin will now be in a term of supervised release and have to pay restitution.

It is an achievement to have prime minister in the state, Adityanath said as he welcomed Modi. "I was clear I would go to all those places in my first year itself", he said.

He added the Uttar Pradesh Government would soon bring new metro lines in Kanpur and Agra as well. Today is the birth anniversary of both the renowned persons.

Firebrand BJP leader Yogi Adityanath became Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in March after a resounding win for his party.

Launching a 12-km stretch of Delhi Metro's Magenta Line here, he said governments incur a lot of cost in creating infrastructure but when it is ready it benefits generations to come.

For better crowd management, all stations will have Platform Screening Doors which are installed ahead of the Metro coach gates.
