Jordan Feldstein, Maroon 5 manager, Jonah Hill's brother, dies at 40

'His family asks for privacy during this hard and unexpected time.

The Los Angeles County Coroner confirmed Feldstein's death on Saturday, Dec. 23, according to THR. Jordan founded the management company Career Artist Management.

The manager was the older brother of actors Jonah Hill and Beanie Feldstein and the family says he died after going into cardiac arrest.

He and Adam had been friends since childhood, and it's though Jordan played a pivotal role in securing his judging slot on The Voice US.

Feldstein was friends with Maroon 5's Adam Levine since they were children, and later negotiated his Levine's coach role on the U.S. version of The Voice. "In lieu of food and flowers, the family will announce a charity in the coming weeks where memorial donations can be made in Jordan's name", the spokesperson continued.

Jordan broke into the music industry while working for ICM and Bill Leopold Management.

Feldstein served as Maroon 5's music manager for more than 15 years. Feldstein helped shape the group into one of the most successful bands, winning three Grammy awards and selling over twenty millions copies of their albums. Jordan leaves behind two children. The marriage was ultimately annulled. Friends of his clients commented on what a thoughtful, hardworking manager he was.
