Federal Bureau of Investigation accuses man of plotting Christmas Day terror attack in San Francisco

Everitt Jameson

According to Federal Bureau of Investigation documents, Jameson picked the Pier 39 location because he "had been there before and knew it was a heavily crowded area". Court documents said he told the undercover operatives that he had no escape plan because he was ready to die.

The documents say Jameson had embraced "radical jihadi beliefs" and wrote social media posts that support terrorism.

An individual reported Jameson for suspicious activity on Facebook after he allegedly posted GIFs of attacks in the US and the New York City attack that left 8 people dead in October, court documents say. Mr. Trump recently announced the US will recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Law enforcement officials say the FBI began investigating him in September, after a tipster reported that Jameson was making pro-jihadi comments in a Facebook posting. According to the informant, Jameson "loved" a Facebook post on November 29 that showed an image of Santa standing in NY with a box of dynamite and a messages that read, "ISIS post image of Santa with dynamite threatening attack on NY".

Everitt Aaron Jameson, a tow-truck driver and released Marine, was charged in a criminal objection recorded at the U.S. Region Court in Sacramento with endeavoring to give material help to an outside psychological militant association - for this situation the Islamic State.

Jameson said the U.S. needed "another attack like NY or San Bernardino", adding that he wanted to use vehicles and firearms to carry out an attack. He had been in the Marine Corps, before being discharged because he had not disclosed he has asthma. The FBI says he sought materials that could be made into a pipe bomb from an agent.

Al Franken Announce He is Resign on 2nd January
Franken declared not long ago that he would leave from the Senate despite inappropriate behavior affirmations. Until Wednesday afternoon, Franken had not given a specific date for when he will resign.

On Wednesday, FBI agents searched Jameson's home in Modesto and recovered multiple guns, ammunition and fireworks.

The affidavit says he said Christmas Day would be the ideal day for an attack.

Jameson also told the undercover agent he wanted to use explosives to "tunnel or "funnel" people into a location where he could inflict casualties, according to the complaint".

They also interviewed Jameson, who allegedly acknowledged parts of the planned attack and his support for terrorism and ISIS. At the point when the covert operator answered, "We can just do Allah's will", James supposedly answered, "Inshallah (God willing) one day I can". They found the martyrdom letter he left behind, and also found several firearms.

"At this time, there are no known additional threats to San Francisco related to this investigation".
