LiAngelo Ball Is Leaving UCLA Without Having Played a Game

LaVar Ball and his son Li Angelo Ball are seen in file

Ball, and fellow players Cody Riley and Jalen Hill admitted trying to steal from three different stores at a mall across from a hotel in Hangzhou, China while the team was in the country to play Georgia Tech last month. "He only went to UCLA one-and-done to play basketball".

"I'm not going to let UCLA take the fire out of my boy by not letting him play for two months", Ball told the Los Angeles Times. Like I told him, "They try to make a big deal out of nothing sometimes". "I'd rather be playing".

LaVar previously said he is "exploring other options" as to where LiAngelo would play.

Ball appeared on CNN's "New Day" to discuss his recent decision to pull his son LiAngelo Ball out of UCLA after the freshman basketball player was suspended indefinitely for his shoplifting arrest in China that drew global attention. "Me just not thinking and being with them, I started taking stuff too".

While Ball made it clear in his public remarks following his return to the United States that he was grateful for the president's assistance, the situation escalated when LaVar Ball publicly questioned how much help the president had actually delivered.

The trio apologized to their teammates, friends, families and the government - including President Donald Trump - at a news conference after they were returned to the US on November 14.

TMZ was the first to report that LiAngelo Ball, Lavar's middle child, had unofficially withdrawn from the school.

The event, held by the Terrence Higgins Trust, remembers lives lost to HIV and marks the progress made in fighting it. It's been an exceptionally busy week for the happy couple following their engagement announcement on Monday.

LaVar Ball and President Donald Trump have engaged in a public war of words since the three players returned from China.

LaVar Ball, the boisterous and bombastic patriarch of three basketball-playing sons, has become a major marketing marvel.

Ball also insists that eventually, LiAngelo and LaMelo will both join Lonzo on the Lakers.

"I'm going to make him way better for the draft than UCLA ever could have", LaVar Ball told ESPN in his latest obnoxious boast. "Watch how I do this". "Because if I got a fallback plan, that means I'm going 80 percent this way and 20 percent to my fallback", he said.

"People already got their perception of me", he said.

"We learned today of LiAngelo Ball's intention to withdraw from UCLA", UCLA Coach Steve Alford told ESPN's Arash Markazi. "I'm 100 in. So I never get stopped".
