Despite knee injury, JT Barrett says he'll play in Big Ten championship

Butler beats host school in tourney

With the win, the Buckeyes, the champions of the Big Ten East Division, have defeated the Wolverines six straight times and in 11 of their last 13 meetings. Freshman JK Dobbins spearheaded a dominant Buckeyes running game with 101 yards on 15 carries, but it was another first-year player who loomed even larger to his team's comeback win against a long-time rival on the road. Like numerous recent games, the loss was gut-wrenching for MI fans.

He was tackled by Wolverines linebacker Mike McCray with 6:07 left in the quarter and his team trailing 20-14. The Wolverines will now await their bowl assignment with the regular season over.

Ohio State had to push past MI without quarterback J.T. Barrett, who left in the third quarter with a right knee injury.

Dwayne Haskins replaced Barrett in the game, and later led a touchdown drive.

Mystery surrounds Michigan's game plan, as starting quarterback Brandon Peters is questionable due to an undisclosed injury.

MI held the Buckeyes to minus-6 yards in the first quarter.

He didn't turn the ball over through the first 57 minutes and helped keep MI in the game, but his interception with 2:36 remaining derailed any chance of a Wolverines comeback.

The spokesperson noted that their actions included expulsion of North Korean workers and diplomats. North Korea responded on Wednesday to U.S.

Barrett was 3 for 8 for 30 passing yards and a touchdown before leaving with the injury.

The teams were tied at 14 at halftime. Well, sort of. Up 14-0 in the second quarter, Metellus had a sure interception hit him in the chest and then fall to the ground.

Haskins led Ohio State down the field after Barrett's injury, setting up Dobbins' 1-yard touchdown run with a 22-yard scamper.

MI also had a chance for great field position late in the first half after a high snap soared over Barrett's head. Instead of having the ball at the OSU 34, the Buckeyes punted, and the Wolverines started at their own 23 with 2:02 remaining.

The Buckeyes, who were held to minus 6 yards in the first quarter, answered with a 75-yard scoring drive. The referees reviewed the play, but the call stood and MI punted from its own 42 with 29 seconds to play. According to head coach Urban Meyer, Barrett was hit on the sideline by a cameraman.

Barrett's run cut Michigan's lead down to one score, 14-7, with 9:50 to play in the first half.

Barrett also lamented how many people MI had allowed around the Buckeyes' bench before the game, including the person who made contact with him. Nuernberger's field goal, which gave the Buckeyes a 24-20 lead, capped off a 10-play, 47-yard drive that took 4:29 off of the fourth-quarter clock.
