Ohio Supreme Court Justice's Facebook Post Is Raising Eyebrows

O'Neill has served on the Ohio Supreme Court since 2013 and announced his gubernatorial candidacy in October.

Judge O'Neill noted that as a candidate for governor, his admission would "save my opponents some research time". "It's wrong to trivialize this", Sutton said in a phone interview. He says the women included "a gorgeous blonde" with whom he "made passionate love" in a hay loft and a "drop dead gorgeous red head" from Cleveland.

Many viewed the post as remarkably tone-deaf in the national debate over sexual misconduct allegations and evidence against a series of powerful men in Hollywood, the media and in politics. He writes that he is "sooooo disappointed" by the current watershed moment in public discourse about sexual violence, that he calls a "feeding frenzy".

Now can we get back to discussing legalizing marijuana and opening the state hospital network to combat the opioid crisis.

"Roy Moore apparently seems to be a challenged individual when it comes to morality", O'Neill told the OH news site.

"The media is about to determine the election of a United States Senate Campaign".

"The biggest takeaway for me is that there is something very uncomfortable seeming about a judge who is simultaneously sitting as judge and running for elected office", Geyh said.

Fourth death linked to string of unsolved killings in Tampa
Interim Tampa Police Chief Brian Dugan said it is extremely possible that the killer — or killers — lives in the neighborhood. Benjamin Mitchell, Monica Hoffa, and Anthony Naiboa were all killed within a few blocks of one another, just days apart.

O'Neill says the post grew out of frustration over Democrats' calls to remove Al Franken from the U.S. Senate over sexual misconduct allegations and his belief that the story line was taking accounts of people's "sexual indiscretions" too far.

O'Neill's campaign manager, Chris Clevenger, resigned from his position with the campaign. But O'Neill might still be considering a run given a Facebook post put up midday Friday. "As a victim of sexual assault, I can not in good faith remain a part of #TeamONeill".

"Sexual harassment and assault are no laughing matter", Clevenger wrote in a subsequent tweet. "I have been out of pocket all day, and had no prior knowledge of his statement".

O'Neill's post was immediately met with outrage from both sides of the political spectrum in OH, with most calling for him to withdraw from the governor's race immediately.

"No words can convey my shock", she said.

While it is clear O'Neill was referring to "a gorgeous personal secretary" who worked for Senator Taft, the language reads like he is listing Taft along with the secretary, which led Slate to report O'Neill's "inadvertent" claim he slept with Senator Taft.
