Google's Job Search Tool Adds Nifty Features To Make Job Hunt Easier

Google has announced a number of updates created to help job hunters in the USA find gainful employment directly through Google Search.

Jobs without salary information will receive a comparison for the estimated range of that job, said Google. So to provide this essential information, we're showing estimated salary ranges right alongside many jobs, based on the specific job title, location and employer. With numbers like that, it's important that seekers are able to drill down to find jobs in their field that pay what they need.

"Directly in Search, you can access salary information for job postings, improved location settings, job application choices, and in a couple of weeks, the ability to save individual jobs", said Google. The update in Google's job search platform will now help you to see how much you could potentially make the Job you are viewing. Google announced it will enhance its job search feature by providing salary information for job posting from select compensation data sources, including PayScale. Google job hunting tool will help job seekers in the U.S. for now, to be replicated elsewhere later. It allows employment seekers to search for jobs across the US using Google Search and terms like "jobs near me" or "teaching jobs". Google is now adding an easier way to locate jobs where you want to be. A bookmark button will appear alongside each posting which allows you to easily save the listing with a tap.

Venus-Jupiter Conjunction: how to view from Bay Area
If you miss it, the next conjunction of Venus and Jupiter will be on January 22, 2019, according to In the Sky . Observers will have to have an uninterrupted view to the south-east as the planets will be very low in the sky.

Although job seekers can't directly apply for openings within Google's tool, they can see a list of the career-related sites like Monster where they can directly apply. You can also post your job listing on a list of sites (like LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, and Glassdoor, among others) already integrated with Google's job searching service to avoid the hassle of integration yourself.

Based on the feedback from job seekers, it has made some improvements to the feature. You can then come back to the listings by going into your "Saved Jobs" tab on Google.

Some of Google's best tools are the ones built right into its powerful search engine.
