Breakfast at Tiffany's: NY jewellery store opens cafe

Luxury jeweler Tiffany & Co. is opening its first-ever restaurant The Blue Box Café at its flagship Fifth Avenue store in New York City

Its jewelry selection has made it a top shopping destination, but starting Friday, November 10, there will be another reason to visit the retailer: an all-day, Tiffany Blue café.

Ever dreamed of having Breakfast at Tiffany's?

And for those new millennial customers who may be later sleepers and less familiar than their mothers with "Breakfast at Tiffany's", the cafe offers a $39 pre-fixe lunch and $49 high tea.

He also said the Council had been looking at the 28 percent tax slab and constantly rationalising items in it in lesser tax slabs. The GST Council is also expected to offer more relief to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in terms of compliance burden.

The debut of the Blue Box Cafe follows the 1961 film in which actress Audrey Hepburn snacks on a pastry while gazing into a shop window on Fifth Avenue. Who's up for dressing like Holly and flooding the cafe when the doors open?

"It's one of my Top 10 bucket list items", says the Marlton, NJ, resident. According to VF, the café will be situated on the fourth floor, allowing you fantastic views of Central Park while you eat your croissants and sip on your Tiffany's coffee.

The Blue Box Cafe is Tiffany's first restaurant, timed to the release of the brand's line of "everyday objects", including a $350 gold vermeil insane straw and a $1,500 sterling-silver "coffee can". Servers in bow ties and crisp white shirts glide around the tiny jewel-box-like space carrying precious, modernist color-blocked china - and admonishing anyone they believe has ventured past the (actual) velvet rope ahead of their turn. According to USA Today, the eatery will serve typical yet delicate breakfast fare, including coffee, avocado toast, buttermilk waffles and ― of course ― croissants.
