Jail Sentence: JAY-Z, Kevin Hart, show support to Meek Mill

Meek Mill sentenced to minimum two years prison for violating probation

Meek Mill can't stay out of trouble...

Rapper Meek Mill is headed back to prison.

According to Billboard, a Philadelphia judge sentenced the rapper to two to four years in state prison for violating probation in a almost decade-old gun and drug case. That now appears to be a recurring hurdle for the 30-year-old born Robert Rihmeek Williams.

Addressing the court on Monday, the judge, Genece Brinkley noted that the Philly rapper failed a drug test and failed to comply with the court order restricting his travel. The judge also cited the rapper's repeated scheduling of concerts in areas where she had barred him from performing. He was also arrested this year in New York City for reckless driving. According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, those charges were dropped after the MMG star agreed to do community service for the Veterans Association in Philadelphia. But probation violations resulted in five more months in prison in 2013 and an extension of his probation. Meek reportedly smirked after her comments, where the judge replied "I'm serious".

Sessions's participation in the gathering was detailed in court documents released Monday by special counsel Robert Mueller III. And O'Connor asked, you know, people are upset that the Justice Department isn't going after Hillary Clinton.

Meek has been on probation pretty much constantly since he was first arrested for gun possession and assaulting a police officer in 2005.

"We will always stand by and support Meek Mill, both as he attempts to right this wrongful sentence and then in returning to his musical career", Jay-Z wrote. These are believed to be the fifth and sixth probation violations by Meek Mill in the last eight years.

But Brinkley says she's been trying to help Mill for about a decade and that he just does whatever he wants.

"I met with Meek this morning and he asked me to thank his family, friends and fans for their love and support", Mill's lawyer Brian McMonagle told PEOPLE exclusively on Tuesday.
