Kamal Hassan says Hindu right-wing is infested with terrorism

Kamal Haasan hosted Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at his Chennai home in September

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao compared actor Kamal Haasan to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) founder Hafiz Saeed.

He further said, "In the past, Hindu right-wing groups would not indulge in violence".

Writing in a Tamil weekly news magazine, the popular star said, "The right wing can not challenge talk of Hindu terrorists because terror has spread into their camp as well". Once this approach started failing they have resorted to muscle power.

Even the Shiv Sena, which now has a blow hot, blow cold relationship with the BJP, slammed Kamal Haasan, who recently announced that he was ready to join politics but has refused to divulge much about his plans so far, for his article.

"In the past Hindu right-wing groups would not indulge in violence, but they used to hold dialogues with the opposition parties to win arguments".

Mr Haasan, who has been hinting at entering politics, has hit out at what he called Hindu extremism, claiming that right-wing groups have taken to violence because their earlier strategy has stopped working. In his leftist view, he says Hindu terrorism exists. Incidentally, today's comments on "Hindu terror" also came in reply to a question posed to him by the Communist veteran in the same magazine on what he thinks about the efforts by Hindutva forces to denigrate the Dravidian culture.

Jimmy Kimmel & Channing Tatum Play Halloween Candy Joke on Their Own Kids
Meanwhile, Channing also admitted that he was in trouble with another member of his family at the moment - his daughter Everly . Really really not well", Tatum said.

Haasan had been vocal against the Tamil Nadu government on the issue of corruption, thus incurring the wrath of several state ministers, who have accused the actor of speaking in general terms and dared him to provide evidence of his charges.

"The actor said", I have been in the film industry for 40 years, but I can tell you one thing, my colour is definitely not saffron".

The comment has invited the ire of BJP with the party's spokesperson Narayan Tripathi saying, "He should apologise and take his word back. They have stepped into the fray to protect Tamil Nadu".

Another BJP leader Subramaniam Swamy also bashed the actor for his controversial comments calling him a "morally corrupt person".

"Is @ikamalhaasan trying to revive denounced narrative of Hindu terror under influence of a terrorist outfit in TN nd ally of PFI, Al Umma?"
