Jimmy Kimmel & Channing Tatum Play Halloween Candy Joke on Their Own Kids

Guest advice Ellen De Generes suggested that nervous Channing come out dancing

Every year, the talk show host asks parents to pull the ultimate stunt on their kids by telling them that they ate their halloween candy.

Acting as a guest host on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Wednesday night, the actor, 37, told Ellen DeGeneres that his father, Glenn, only found out about his past from watching her show.

Kimmel knows this, which is why he took a few moments-despite being away from his hosting duties-to continue his show's longstanding post-Halloween tradition of videotaping kids crying over their parents eating their candy.

Kimmel was next to share; his daughter Jane, three, had a more diplomatic approach, despite only being left with a solitary packets of Smarties.

Tatum couldn't stand seeing his daughter upset, so he came clean. "I still have one, don't worry".

"I don't believe you", she said after she threw the empty bag at her dad. "If I'm asking you to do this to your kids, I should probably do it to mine, too", he said to the audience while introducing the clip. "That's not amusing", Everly said to which the actor replied, "You're right, that was not amusing".

"Not well. Really really not well", Tatum said.

Browns almost landed AJ McCarron from Bengals
McCarron before the deadline, but according to USA TODAY Sports , they did not call the league in time to complete the trade. In his lone playoff start, he completed 23-of-41 passes for 212 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Meanwhile, Channing also admitted that he was in trouble with another member of his family at the moment - his daughter Everly.

Jimmy's response? "Mommy ate them".

'Jimmy Kimmel told me to do it, ' Kimmel insisted.

"I wanted my Skittles!"

When Jane pointed out that eyeball "is bubbles for blowing", Kimmel announced that he ate the bubbles. "The eyeball is bubbles!"

Kimmel recorded himself pulling the prank on his daughter, who didn't really know how to feel about the whole thing.
