Mobile puts a cap on high-speed data roaming in Canada, Mexico

T-Mobile

If you really need more than that data, you can still purchase high-speed global LTE data for an additional $25.

T-Mobile has done a lot over the years to back-up its claim of being an "Un-carrier", offering perks and options that big rivals Verizon and AT&T don't come close to. The users can estimate how much they would be affected while traveling overseas.

That roaming data was specifically for Mexico and Canada.

It's not shocking that T-Mobile would do this. However, it looks like the wireless carrier will be falling in line, as it is downgrading one of its benefits that it started almost two years ago called Mobile Without Borders.

Do you think this is an unfair move from T-Mobile?

Three Dead After Horror Skydiving Accident
One shocked onlooker said: "You could see one chute was tangled and it wasn't opening". 'It wasn't good to watch. An eyewitness told Cairns News that he saw one skydiver fall to the ground without their parachute released.

Starting on November 12th, T-Mobile's Mobile Without Borders plan will be getting a 5GB data cap on LTE speeds when users visit the US's neighbors to the north and south. If you are on legacy rate plans, Simple Choice North America, or T-Mobile ONE, you will receive up to a maximum of 5GB of 4G LTE unlimited talk, text, and data beginning November 12.

The Mobile Without Borders service first appeared as part of T-Mobile's Simple Choice plan in 2015, and it came as an extension to the company's global roaming incentives.

As for why T-Mobile is making this change, it wrote "Mobile Without Borders is an incredible benefit and allows customers to stay connected when traveling in Canada and Mexico".

The company went on to say that "less than 1 percent of people with this benefit travel to Mexico and Canada use over 5GB a month".

We already know that T-Mobile's unlimited plans have limits, just like they do at every other wireless carrier. You can also check your LTE data usage with a shortcode #WEB# from your mobile.
