Razer's November 1 "Biggest Unveiling" Hints At A Smartphone

Gaming company Razer is developing a mobile device that will be ready by the end of the year

According to a tweet by Razer, it will be holding its "biggest unveiling" on November 1. Recently, company's CEO Min-Liang Tan revealed that the company is indeed working on a smartphone in an interview with CNBC.

Razer is rumored to have started working on the mobile gaming device from past year.

But if previous reports are anything to go by, this device could be the Razer phone that's going to be primarily marketed for "hardcore gamers", so it's safe to imagine that power, performance, and graphics are going to be its three biggest components.

Razer tweeted Wednesday to expect news on November 1, accompanying the tweet with a picture of a fella holding an obscured device. Razer may have used the expertise of this company to create their smartphone because Nextbit is backed by some of the respectable names in the Android industry. Razer bought out Ouya 2015 and acquired Nextbit, the gaming hardware company, early this year. In the meantime, you can head over to the website and sign up to receive updates on whatever it is that Razer plans on unveiling.

Dove apologises for racially insensitive advertisement on Facebook
The racial-suggestive images have caused outrage on social media , with users threatening to boycott the beauty brand. Cosmetics brand Dove has become the bane of the internet after it posted an advertisement considered to be racist .

A hefty helping of RAM helps a ton when it comes to powering games, but it's by no means the only factor in getting graphically intensive games to run smoothly.

Razer's primary focus may be on gaming laptops and peripherals such as mice, keyboards and headsets. The Robin was able to automatically move photos and unused apps off your phone and into cloud storage whenever you were running out of capacity on the device.

Until we hear more details abut what's specifically inside the rumored Razer phone, we can only offer up a wish list of what would make an ideal mobile device for gamers.
