Appeals court clears way for NFL's 6-game suspension of Ezekiel Elliott

NFL Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams

The United States 5th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in favor of the National Football League today in the ongoing Ezekiel Elliott case, writing that Elliott's lawsuit contesting his six-game suspension was "premature". Stay with KLTV for updates.

Morris has been functioning as the Cowboys' primary backup so far this season, as Darren McFadden still hasn't seen the field. If it imposed immediately, he would be eligible to return for Dallas's November 30 game against the rival Redskins.

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott will have to serve his six-game suspension after all.

The league concluded after a lengthy investigation that Elliott was guilty of violence in a series of incidents past year involving his former girlfriend.

THE Pixel 2 is Google's next generation phone and from what I saw during their event last October 4, it was one heck of a phone. Apart from Flipkart , you will be able to get the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL from certain offline retailers that are listed here.

The Court of Appeals ruled against the injuction Thursday, overruling the district court's decision. Elliott has denied the charges. League-appointed arbitrator Harold Henderson rejected the NFL Players Association's appeal on Elliott's behalf and upheld the suspension imposed by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell under the sport's personal conduct policy. This is the same court that ultimately ruled in the NFL's favor against Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in the deflate gate scandal.

The NFL countered that it followed procedures under the league's labor deal and that the union improperly filed a lawsuit before the appeals process was complete.

The six-game suspension was handed down in August after a 13-month investigation into an alleged string of domestic violence incidents in Columbus, Ohio the week of Elliott's 21st birthday.
