LaVar Ball pulls youngest son from high school

LONG BEACH CA- MAY 06 La Melo Ball headed to UCLA looks on with his brother Lonzo and dad Lavar during the 2017 Ballislife All American game

LaVar Ball said he will train LaMelo himself and let him play in travel ball during the spring and summer.

It's a big hit to the high school basketball scene in Southern California, with LaMelo a star alongside his brother in recent seasons, including a 92-point outburst in a game a season ago.

LaVar has grabbed attention over the past year with exaggerated claims and headline-grabbing antics.

According to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN, the elder Ball said, "I'm not dealing with the coach over there [at Chino Hills]".

It turns out LaVar actually had some issues with the new head coach of the Chino Hills basketball team and the way he wanted to run the team, so he pulled his son.

It also limits cooperation between local police forces and federal authorities in operations to track down undocumented immigrants.

Will he then get housed when he plays real games?

Eric Sondheimer of the Los Angeles Times reported the news Tuesday, noting Chino Valley Unified School District superintendent Wayne Joseph said Ball made the request of basketball coach Dennis Latimore and principal Isabel Brenes. "It seems like anyone who's training over there that coach don't want him in the team".

LaMelo Ball is now ranked as the seventh-best player of his Class of 2019, the No. 1 player in the state and the second-best available player in the nation at his position - rankings which could quickly change if he is not enrolled to showcase his skill by the start of the season. "It's good for Melo", the 48-year-old told the Los Angeles Times. I am really disappointed it couldn't have worked out better for LaMelo and all the players. LiAngelo is considered the least skilled of the three, but LaVar has said he intends to have LiAngelo be a one-and-done player as well.

That's all the green light LaVar needs after already butting heads with the coaches at Chino Hills in the past.
